Manage the hospital's financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting, to support informed decision-making by the executive team and board of directors.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and healthcare industry guidelines, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and professional growth.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and analyses to senior management, the board of directors, and external stakeholders, highlighting key financial insights Cost Control:
Implement strategies to manage and control costs, identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, and collaborate with department heads to optimize resource allocation.
Audit and Taxation:
Coordinate external audits, working closely with auditors, and oversee the hospital's tax compliance and reporting requirements.
Cash Flow Management:
Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity to meet operational needs and capital requirements.
- Financial Planning:
Contribute to the development of the hospital's long-term financial plans, capital budgeting, and strategic financial initiatives.
Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate financial risks, developing and implementing appropriate risk management strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or a related industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and healthcare finance.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor and manage a team effectively.
Proficiency in financial software and systems, including experience with healthcare-specific financial software (e.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
