Reporting directly to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be a key player within our client's operation. You pride yourself in your ability to work collaboratively with the maintenance and operations staff not only to ensure optimal safety, but to continually troubleshoot and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. As a creative, strong leader you enjoy coaching and developing your team and you also have a solid understanding of financial targets and budgets.
You
Are a Certified Benchman with a minimum of five years' of experience with band and circular saws OR you are thinking about retirement in 5 years and would like the opportunity to mentor a successor (qualified candidates from Canada, USA and international countries will be considered)
Have excellent communication skills and a strong command of the English language (both oral and written)
Are self-motivated with well-developed organizational, time management and analytical skills
Are able to work shift work
